Bazaar Weekend!

Port 88 Bazaar at Megatent, Ortigas + Carnival de Rainhas at Rockwell - September 17 to 18

Most photos were taken by my point and shoot since my DSLR ran out of battery. Anymoooo! Such great bazaars! A combination of my favorite boutiques and some new ones as well! First off, Port 88! I only got a few photos.

Hello, Mapleberry and Pirouette!

Elan accessories

Cute colored bags! Great material as well!

Virtual Mae - ‘Nuff said!

Chubby Chicken is sooo good! I love them! had them for dinner. Fried soy chicken with 2 condiments - Thick sweet soy sauce and a garlic sauce. YUM!

So that’s all for Port 88. Boo. I know. Should’ve taken more shots. Sunday, off to Rockwell!

Anti-Fashion clothing!

Girls trying out this really chic, floral, cover-up. Different patterns.

I looove their bags! Authentic leather purses and shoulder bags!

Suuper awesome, right?

Lovely accessories!

Super cute clothes! Especially their dresses!

I loove this bag! It comes in Khaki, Olive and Navy Blue. Only 3 pieces per color. Great material and craftsmanship! However, I found it difficult to open and close the bag.

So these are the stuff I bought from both bazaars. I held back a lot! Because I;m saving up for shoes. Haha. But these are great investments + great bargains! I’m so happy. My wallet isn’t though. :| Watch out for my outfit posts. And new stuff at The Pop Shop!

Christmas in September

Decided to check out the Christmas bazaar at Rockwell. Just came home from team building that Sunday afternoon, too, so I was feeling kind of tired. Nevertheless, I was determined to check out all the stalls hoping to find some unique stuff! Here’s what I wore.

Pink double breasted blouse - Thrifted / Skinny jeans - No brand / Platforms from Asianvogue / Colorful headband - Accessorize

Not the most appealing ticket I’ve seen. :|

Shells by Jacildo’s Handicrafts. Great for decoration!

Look at this really cute heart-shaped seashell. I wanna make you a necklace!

Mia Casa, my love! Bought accessories here! Couldn’t help myself! They were all soo pretty! I’ll use them in one of my outfit posts soon!

I especially wanted to buy this one! It’s too pretty! But I wound up buying something else. I’ll come back for you, ok?

Oh and Mapleberry Boutique was there also! I went there to check out their new collection! Pretty clothes! Blouses galore! Oh, look, there’s Carmel in the corner! Heehee.

Oh and accessories as well. I couldn’t really browse properly cause my little sister was annoying me. Anywhooo.

Look at all the pretty hats! Beautiful! Wish I could have bought one! They also had headbands and alike. Awww! Just had to try them on. Hats cost less than 1k, and the headbands, less than 500, I think.

See? They’re so pretty! Gotta love them Lucban Hats and Exports! So the rest, I just took photos of what I thought was interesting.

Spiffy calculators!

Portraits for Php1,000. Yoikes.

OMG. You have to try her baked goodies! Yummy quiche! Specifically the Spinach, feta and sundried tomato ones!

That about wraps things up! Enjoyed the little time I had in the bazaar. Looking forward to the next ones. Hopefully I’ll discover new booths and stuff. ‘Til then! Oh and watch out for my next blog post if you’re into makeup!

Sunday Shopping

Fashion Village, Tiendesitas - Sept. 4, 2011

Shopping with my sisters! After the Sunday usuals, my sisters accompanied me to Tiendesitas to buy a gift for a baptism I was going to attend. We headed straight to Fashion Ville! We’ve been there a couple of times but there weren’t a lot of nice boutiques there before. Now, there are more shops and choices, more clothes! Instead of buying a gift, I wound up shopping for me first though. Oops.

Thanks to my big sis for taking this blurry photo. :| Haha

That’s my little sister browsing through some stuff. She’s taller than me btw.

Great shorts for only Php150! Some of them are a bit too short or too thin though.

Pink Manila has always been there since I can remember. Lovely selection of clothes! They’re available at The Ramp, too, so you don’t have to go all the way to Tiendesitas.

I think I’ll buy that pink skirt when I can. It’s cute. For Php450! Hmmm.

Another cute boutique! They have reallly cute harem pants if you can see the ones on the rack. They’re Php500 each. Soft and breezy fabrics. They have pretty interesting accessories as well!

Accessory brand Posh Collection / Amanda’s Place. They’re available at Teens’ Zone, Glorietta, too.

See that cute accessory frame? I’ll be selling my own versions soon! Watch out for that! :D

This is Mapleberry Boutique. One of the boutiques I was dying to check out thanks to my friend Melissa. When I was browsing through their stuff, they showed me a photo of her wearing one of the shorts. Namely, this photo:

She’s gorgeous, huh? Check out her new blog here! Fun fact: She and I will be starting our own accessory line soon! Watch out for that, too!

These were the shorts which I first wanted. Been looking for a nice pair of high waisted shorts. But then the hem area was a bit too loose on my thighs. So it wasn’t so flattering on me. Other than the hem/thigh area, they were perfect though! And I tried to use my belt to accentuate my waist. The shorts are made of suede fabric. They’re really nice!

Pardon my top. You might think it doesn’t go well with the shorts I try on.

I chose to buy these shorts since I can use them more often. Plus, it was the last pair and they were my size. Moments when you know it’s just meant-to-be. I can use them for parties and semi-formal stuff. Yup, they’re the black version of the ones on Melissa. They’re really comfy but one thing about em, is that they’re a bit loose too in the hem. Might get a lil peek of your bum if it gets pulled up too high. LOL Fun shorts though! I love ‘em!

Plus they have more great pieces! The salesladies told me they’ll be at the upcoming Rockwell bazaar this weekend! You guys should check them out.

(Btw, I’m not plugging due to request or anything. It REALLY is my honest opinion that you surely MUST check them out!)

Walked around again, saw these great distressed shorts! Peach, red and black! For Php380, I think.

I browsed around some more. Got tired of taking photos. Just bought and tried on some more stuff since I kinda earned some cash from me shop. Woohoo!

This is my big sis. She’s probably the first person to ever influence me when it comes to fashion and dressing up. She introduced me to ukay and I’m thankful to have her as my big sis. YUCK CHEESY. HAHA Check out her blog here

Hope you guys enjoyed that! If you have any questions, feel free to comment in the Disqus form or anything. I’d love to hear from you guys :)

Love Japan

Held at the Rockwell Tent from July 23 to 24, Rockwell hosted a bazaar aimed to raise funds for the victims of Japan. Online boutiques, celebrity auction, origami tutorial, stores, mini celebrity concert and more! It was all for a really good cause which was why it was so much more enjoyable to shop and participate. I went there on both days but I only got to take photos on the first day. Yes, I took photos of mostly accessories.

Brass rings from Splatt MNL. The rings cost Php400 each. 3 for Php1000 But they actually cost around Php600 each outside.

These are lovely and chic home accessories from Petit Blanc. The owner whom I got to speak with came from PSID as well. It was pretty difficult to choose from their premiere collection. Yes, they just opened their boutique recently.

I fell in love with the items of this booth! They were all soo pretty! Tons of accessories by Mia Casa. Ranging from 100 to 250 during the bazaar. Charm bracelets, rings, chain necklaces, etc. I went for the bangles!

Great display of flats from Ichigo.

Look who I spotted at the booth of Coexist. It’s Camille Co herself.  Too starstruck at first but I went for it. Know that feeling? LOL Browsed through her stuff when she approached me and pointed out some new items. She has this cute small voice! She was really nice and her items were super fab! Wish I could’ve afforded some at that time though. :)

I wish I could’ve taken more photos of the event had I brought the other lens.

[ Why oh why did I post my photo right after Camille’s? LOL! ] I LOVE colors! First outfit was when I came from school. Second was when I went to the bazaar. Which do you prefer?

I’m SHOE in Love

July 9, 2011 - NBC Tent, Bonifacio Global City

I just had to go to the bazaar! After class, I rushed there to check out all the fabulous shoes! The sellers ranged from online boutiques to branded ones. I saw most of the shoes I wanted from online, but they were sold for almost the same price. I figured pre-order was much more reasonable. but that doesn’t mean I loved the designs any less!

My ultimate favorite shop had to be Virtual Mae shoes. Her designs are amazing and she was there personally to entertain questions and other concerns. If you buy a pair from her shop, you get a free pair of shoes from a certain pile. Prices range Php2,500 to almost Php6,000. Lower than her online shop prices.

What I’m wearing: White long sleeve polo / Tribal printed cardigan / High waist shorts with braided belt / Nude pumps / Leather bag

Forever 21 in SM Makati

This was during the second day. Still pretty much packed with a lot of people. Really long lines for the counter and fitting rooms. It’s been a week and it still pretty much looks the same. LOL Well, the lines for the counter are shorter, but the lines in the fitting rooms got longer. Are the long lines really worth the wait? I’ll leave that up to you.
